The Zell Entrepreneurship Program commences under the leadership of Professor Ronen Israel.
2002
Professor Bernard Avishai takes on leadership of the program for Zell 2 and 3.
2004
Professor Israel returns to lead the program for an additional three years.
2005
First physical product created (Yahahdudes, Green Life Cafe).
2007
First funded company that was started in the program (Wibiya).
2008
Liat Aaronson takes on leadership of the program.
2009
Alumni organization formed by Yonatan Raz-Fridman who served as its first chairman.
2010
First exit for an alumni venture (LabPixies was acquired by Google).
Students travel to Omaha, Nebraska to meet with Warren Buffet.
2011
Big exit year: PicScout, PicApp, and The Gifts Project were acquired.
The Gifts Project was the first exit of a company created in the program.
2013
Sam Zell announced the endowment of the program at the Zell Bar Mitzvah event Somoto becomes first Zell Venture to IPO.
2015
Liat Aaronson takes on the role of chairperson of the advisory board and Moran Nir takes on leadership of the program from Zell 15 to Zell 18.
2019
Zell Next is launched for alumni programming led by Nofar Issacharov
